It's fall time at the farm and so I figured it was time to start a blog.

This last weekend found Ted and Mark fixing the tractor and John and I putting a new seat cover on the John Deer - courtesy of Mark. A real gift for everyone.

John, Marge and I also raked a bunch of leaves before the wind came up overnight and hid all evidence of our hard work.

It's amazing how quickly the weather can change on the prairies. We went outside Saturday night to say goodbye to Mark and the dogs. The full moon was bright and warrented bringing out the telescope. But before we could set it up, the clouds rolled in from the west, the wind came up and a thunderstorm was upon us.

Back in the city today, it's cold and wet outside. With a cold snap of it's fingers, it seems like winter is born.
